Ravish M Parekh, MD

Dr. Ravish Parekh is a board-certified gastroenterologist and a member of the Atlantic Digestive Health Institute. He received his medical degree from Baroda Medical College, Maharaja Sayajirao University in India and came to the United States to pursue his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital-Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. There, he served as a chief medical resident and was awarded Intern of the Year. Dr. Parekh remained at Henry Ford Hospital to complete his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology, during which he served, once again, as a chief fellow and was awarded the Roger F. Smith - Most Outstanding Fellow of the Year.Dr. Parekh brings an exceptional combination of quality patient care, team leadership, and strong communication skills to our practice. He is proud to be part of Atlantic Medical Group and treats a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders with a special interest in inflammatory bowel diseases, colorectal cancer screening, pancreaticobiliary disorders, chronic liver diseases and disorders of the esophagus.A member of multiple gastrointestinal societies, Dr. Parekh participates in the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastrointestinal Association (AGA), American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. He has published several abstracts and publications, has presented at several national and international meetings, and has a keen interest in research and medical education.
