Morristown Surgical Associates welcomes Dr. Samuel Echeverri to the practice. Dr. Echeverri is a board-certified general surgeon who specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic procedures. He strives to provide the best outcomes possible for his patients.Drawn to the field of medicine at a young age, Dr. Echeverri pursued his medical education at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and his surgical residency at Morristown Medical Center. Here, Dr. Echeverri served as the administrative chief surgery resident and earned awards for his compassion, mentoring and professionalism.Dr. Echeverri believes in providing personalize care and has particular interest in hernia repairs including abdominal wall, inguinal and diaphragm hernias. He also specializes in laparoscopic removal of abdominal organs, including the gallbladder, appendix, and intestines.
