Shari Beth Ashton, PA

Shari Ashton, MS, PA-C, is a licensed and nationally certified physician assistant with Atlantic Breast Associates. She collaborates with surgeons, radiologists, oncologists, and genetic counselors to provide superior care for patients requiring comprehensive breast health and disease management. She provides in-office evaluation for benign and malignant breast disease, manages the genetic testing process and performs appropriate counseling, and assists in ambulatory surgical procedures for patients undergoing biopsies, lumpectomies and partial mastectomies. An important part of her role is to communicate effectively with patients and the team of breast care specialists to optimize patient management.Shari attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (now Rutgers University) where she earned a master of science degree as a physician assistant. She completed specialized genetics training at The City of Hope in California. She is licensed by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners and certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the New Jersey State Society of Physician Assistants.
