Sona A Khurana, DO

Sona Khurana, DO, is an associate medical director and internist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Khurana specializes in diagnosing and treating chronic and acute illnesses. She is skilled in critical care and takes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach.

After earning her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Khurana completed an internal medicine internship and residency at UMDNJ School of Osteopathic Medicine in New Jersey.  

Dr. Khurana has extensive hospitalist and patient care experience. In addition to treating patients, she is also passionate about hospital leadership, mentorship and education. She has significant experience teaching residents and medical students, and also serves as a physician advisor. She is a member of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization and is fluent in English, Spanish and Hindi.
