Swarnaraji Amal Doss, MD

Swarnaraji Amal Doss, MD, is an internal medicine physician with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG), specializing in hospice and palliative medicine. She is board-certified in internal medicine and in hospice and palliative medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

A compassionate caregiver, Dr. Amal Doss is part of AMG Palliative Care Morristown where she provides expert care for patients with serious illnesses by managing their pain and other symptoms. She works as part of the palliative care team and assists people and their families with making decisions related to their illnesses and improving their quality of life.

After earning her medicine degree from Vinayaka Missions Medical College in Karaikal, India, Dr. Amal Doss completed her residency in internal medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY. She then completed a fellowship for additional specialized training in hospice and palliative medicine at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ. She was recognized with two best physician awards for compassionate care and ambulatory care and another award for excellent service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dr. Amal Doss served as a junior medical officer in India before moving to the U.S. for her medical residency and fellowship training. She is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
