Outstanding Dr very thorough and concerned, could not have asked for anyone better,

I came to see Dr. Kayal after I was having pain and swelling near my anal area. It turned out to be a perianal abscess and fistula. I never had a surgery before and was scared to go under anesthesia and feared the pain that might follow. I had two operations the first was an exam which confirmed I had the fistula and Dr. Kayal placed a seton in the fistula tract. The second surgery was about 6 weeks after the first was called a LIFT which removed the fistula tract for good. I had no pain post op, (even after bowel movements) all while just taking ibuprofen for the first few days. I attribute the success of these procedures and my pain free experience to Dr. Kayal's skill and experience. He is incredibly down to earth and we have built a great rapport. He's answered all my questions in the office, on the phone and pre and post op. My advice to anyone who needs colorectal surgery is to choose Dr. Kayal and you will be in good hands!
