Vikalp Jain, MD

Vikalp Jain, MD, is a vascular surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery, he has more than 10 years of experience treating patients with arterial and venous disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease and other complex vascular conditions. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care and ensuring patients are fully informed about their condition and treatment options so they can make confident decisions about their health.

After earning his medical degree with honors from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, Dr. Jain completed a general surgery residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center in Stony Brook, NY, where he served as chief resident and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. Dr. Jain also earned a medical MBA from the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine in Nutley and Clifton, NJ. Prior to joining AMG, he served as an assistant professor of surgery at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, practiced at several Northwell Health hospitals throughout New York and has been practicing in Monmouth and Ocean counties for the past eight years. He is certified as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) and holds additional advanced certifications in aortic and endovascular therapies.

Dr. Jain has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and delivered presentations at national vascular and surgical meetings. His research has focused on aortic disease, endovascular therapies, vascular imaging and complex aneurysm repair. He is a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Eastern Vascular Society and the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin. A recipient of multiple teaching and research awards, Dr. Jain has been recognized as a Monmouth and Ocean County Top Doctor. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
