About me
Vikas Bhatt, MD, is a urologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-eligible in urology by the American Board of Urology, he admits, evaluates, diagnoses, treats (surgically or medically), and provides consultation to patients of all ages presenting with medical and surgical disorders of the genitourinary system and the adrenal gland, including endoscopic, percutaneous, and open surgery of congenital and acquired conditions of the urinary and reproductive systems and their contiguous structures. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, cutting-edge, personalized care to all patients, and making sure they are educated about their condition and treatment.
After earning his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine, Dr. Bhatt performed residencies in preliminary general surgery and urology at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY. He then completed a fellowship in endourology/minimally invasive at Brown University, Providence, RI. Prior to joining AMG, Dr. Bhatt served as a urology contractor in Newport and Providence, RI.
Dr. Bhatt has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, has presented at national meetings, and is a member of the American Urological Association. He has a special interest in health outcomes, equity and quality, and attained his Masters in Public Health at Brown University, Providence, RI. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
