Vineet Tyagi, MD

Dr. Vineet Tyagi is an orthopedic surgeon with Atlantic Medical Group Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at Bridgewater. Fellowship-trained in adult reconstructive surgery, he specializes in the full spectrum of joint care, evaluating joint-related conditions and determining the best surgical and non-surgical approaches for each patient.

A joint reconstruction specialist, Dr. Tyagi provides thorough and comprehensive medical and surgical management of patients, particularly those with arthritis and bone conditions including fractures. He is skilled at joint replacement surgery and minimally invasive procedures that involve the knee and hip, as well as fracture care of the hip, with the goal of returning patients to an active lifestyle. He has been a collaborator for numerous research studies focusing on reducing infection rates, optimizing surgical techniques, and improving patient outcomes.

After earning degrees from Princeton University and New York University School of Medicine, Dr. Tyagi completed his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, followed by a fellowship at the world-renowned Stanford University Hospital. In addition, he earned a certificate in the business of health care specialization from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, which focused on health care management and policy to improve health care delivery.
