Visitor information

To further aid in the healing process for our patients, our medical centers offer patient-centered visitation - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Hours may vary for certain locations or departments, so please call ahead for clarity and review our guidelines.

Goryeb Children's Hospital offers several parking options, so that all of our patients and visitors have easy access to our hospital. Special housing accommodations may be available for relatives and extended family.

Self Parking

Self parking is available in the East Garage, located on 100 Madison Avenue near our main entrance and in the West Garage, located on 100 Madison Avenue across from Carol G. Simon Cancer Center. Both are open 24/7.

Parking Payment & Fees
We have automated pay stations that allow patients and visitors to pay for parking with cash and debit or credit cards. These machines are located in both the East and West garages, as well as in the Goryeb Children’s Hospital lobby. Payment can also be made using cash, credit or debit at the exit lanes with one of our cashiers. An automated cashier is available during peak business hours. All major credit cards are accepted.

Fee structure:

• Up to 30 minutes: free
• Up to five hours: $4
• Five hours plus: $7

Valet Parking

Valet parking is currently available at the Carol G. Simon Cancer Center entrance, accessible from Madison Avenue. There is a $10 fee.

Discounted Parking

Patients and their loves ones who are expected to have an extended stay at our hospital may be eligible for discounted rate parking through our Because We Care program. This special offer is available from the first day of admission. Application information can be obtained from cashiers within Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Gagnon Cardiovascular Institute and Carol G. Simon Cancer Center.

Driving

From northeastern New Jersey
Take I-80 West to I-287 South to Exit 35, marked Madison Avenue. Turn left at traffic light onto Madison Avenue. Make left at next traffic light to hospital entrance. Please note that the Emergency Department is accessible via Franklin Street.

From central and southern New Jersey
Take I-287 North to Exit 35, marked South Street. Turn left at traffic light at end of ramp. Bear right onto access road toward Madison Avenue. Turn right onto Madison Avenue. Make left at next traffic light to hospital entrance. Please note that the Emergency Department is accessible via Franklin Street.

From Newark area
Take I-78 West to Route 24 West to I-287 South and follow directions from northeastern New Jersey (above).

From eastern Pennsylvania
Take I-78 East to I-287 North to Exit 35, marked South Street, and follow directions from central and southern New Jersey (above).

Transit Service
Goryeb Children's Hospital is accessible by NJ Transit (and a 10 minute walk from the train station) or by bus on Madison Avenue.
