The Hersh Children’s Center offers our most precious patients an exceptional level of medical care. We combine both pediatric emergency and inpatient services in one beautiful, family-friendly facility.
Family friendly care
The Michael Gordon Reeves Pediatric Emergency Department is fully equipped to handle the full range of pediatric conditions. Our emergency department is staffed 24/7 by doctors specializing in pediatric medicine. We’ve even streamlined care for minor illnesses and injuries, allowing children to remain in the kid-friendly waiting area until they receive test results, easing the stress they may be feeling.
The Meri and Sol Barer Inpatient Pediatric Unit offers special touches to make kids and their loved ones more comfortable, including sleep accommodations for parents, family lounges and a play area with skylights and lots of windows. Liam’s Room offers a special space for patients with serious chronic conditions or life-limiting illnesses.
