Preparing for your visit

We want every patient to feel informed, comfortable, and confident—whether you’re visiting a hospital, doctor’s office, outpatient center, or specialty clinic. Our dedicated teams work with you as partners in care, ensuring you have the resources you need before your appointment.

Patient registration & pre-registration

Registration is required for all procedures at Atlantic Health hospitals. In most cases, it is recommended that you work with your doctor's office or call ahead to schedule an appointment. Please note that some procedures do not require a scheduled appointment.

If you are making an unscheduled visit to our hospital, please ensure that you have a valid identification (ID), insurance cards and a signed prescription from your physician, including the diagnosis code or ICD-10 code.

If you have a scheduled appointment, please plan to arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to you appointment so that you can register with us.
