Atlantic Health Names Vicki LoPachin as Executive Vice President & Chief Medical Officer

MORRISTOWN, NJ – AUGUST 18, 2026 – Atlantic Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Vicki LoPachin, MD, FACP, MBA, as Executive Vice President & Chief Medical Officer. A pivotal member of executive leadership, Dr. LoPachin will work across the enterprise to ensure delivery of high-quality, value-based care. As the organization’s principal clinical strategist and champion of quality, safety and innovation, her leadership will drive performance improvement and clinical excellence, while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration among clinicians and the medical staff.

Dr. LoPachin will shape clinical initiatives and care delivery models in alignment with the health system’s strategic priorities. Devoting her time and talent to developing care pathways that improve patient access, she will also support transitions of care and optimize the organization’s longstanding commitment to value-based care strategies.

A proponent of equity and inclusion throughout her leadership journey, Dr. LoPachin brings with her more than 20 years of experience across academic medicine, multi-hospital health systems, and private practice. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Mount Sinai Health System, where she helped lead

enterprise quality, patient safety, regulatory strategy, and the organization's COVID-19 response while driving measurable improvements in clinical outcomes.
