A Message from the Residency Program Director
Welcome to the Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program at Atlantic Health. We are committed to providing our residents with the education and skill set needed to meet the ever-evolving expectations of our remarkable field.
With a focus on resident physician wellness, our institution and this program have your professional and personal interests in mind. We encourage our residents to explore their talents and capabilities throughout residency, an invaluable part of any educational experience. Moreover, Atlantic Health is consistently voted one of Fortune’s Best Companies to Work For®.
At Morristown and Overlook Medical Centers, residents are exposed to a high volume of diverse pathology across all subspecialties. In fact, Morristown Medical Center is a Level I trauma center and a tertiary care center for the region. Coinciding with this case variety, our faculty are comprised of fellowship trained radiologists across all subsections. This allows our residents to benefit from advanced subspecialty teaching daily.
Additionally, we offer 2 spots per year for our ESIR pathway. This is an enriching opportunity for those residents interested in pursuing a career as an interventional radiologist. This successful curriculum has been in place the last few years and we have graduated several residents to date.
Thank you again for your interest in our program, it is sincerely appreciated. We look forward to showing you everything that the Atlantic Health radiology residency has to offer, and we welcome the opportunity to contribute to your professional and personal development.
