About me
Arshish Dua, MD, is an interventional gastroenterologist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Board-certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine, he specializes in diagnosing and treating conditions of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas and gallbladder with a sub focus in advanced endoscopy. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to all patients and ensuring they are educated about their condition and treatment.
Dr. Dua earned his medical degree with highest honors from Ross University School of Medicine in Roseau, Dominica, and a Bachelor of Arts in biology, with minors in chemistry and musical performance, from Knox College in Galesburg, IL. He completed advanced endoscopy and clinical gastroenterology fellowships at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, NY and Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood IL as well as an internal medicine residency at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. He additionally completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in neurogastroenterology and motility at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Prior to joining AMG, he served as an assistant professor of medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, a clinical instructor of medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and held attending positions in gastroenterology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medicine Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York, NY. He has authored peer-reviewed publications, delivered presentations and is a member of the professional organization American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
