Julia is great! Very patient and easy going. Nice personality and took the time to explain everything. Worked with me at my pace.

She was generally polite but could only give me general advice about my surgery & recovery - she did not have the experience or maturity 2 advise me on my concerns - 2 begin with she removed only the top layer of my wound covering & had me remove the covering over my stitches - my thought @ the time was that IF anything was pulled out with the tape it would be my fault , not hers - she said it was because I knew how hard 2 pull so it wouldn't hurt - she never examined my knee or assessed my range of motion but said it looked like I was walking OK - I used a cane instead of a walker 2 avoid any problems with other patients in the waiting room & felt safe enough doing so 4 short distances as there was enough assistance if it was needed & my friend could go out 2 the car 2 retrieve it if needed - I asked her when I could stop the anticoagulants Rx & she said that I should NOT be on it any more , only the 1st week although the Rx bottle had 30 pills in it & said " take 1 pill by mouth every day " - she could not order me any pain Rxs & referred me 2 my Primary Dr. -She could not extend my in home PT althoughI am elderly & live alone with no family in state - she said I could drive when I feel " safe 2 do So " even though it is my right knee which was operated on & I couldn't lift it more than a few inches off the floor - I should " first drive it a short distance 2 see how it goes " - didn't ask me 2 show her how high I was able 2 lift my foot - passed off my excessively dry mouth any Raw tongue as a " bad spell of mySjorgrens'Syndrome " although I had NEVER experienced anything THAT bad that would last over a week - when we were through the Post op assessment she left the room in a state of agitation because I said that I would like 2 make an appointment with the Dr. UponHis return & she also conveyed her agitation with the scheduler who seemed less friendlyWhen I made my appointment - in short , I feel that she held a position which exceeded her abilities & maturity ! - I had a VERY GOOD Experience with the Xray tech & the receptionist ( until the chat she had with her , then it was a bit cool ) - I certainly would Recommend the Dr. Who performed my surgery as I think he did an EXCELLENT JOBConsidering all of the complications he had 2 deal with -
