Atlantic Medical Oncology - Sparta

The medical team at Atlantic Medical Oncology are board-certified cancer specialists who have intensive medical training in treating cancer. As a result, they can coordinate unified, comprehensive care integrating various treatments, including chemotherapy and radiation therapy, along with supportive care services.

Patients are offered dietary consults with a registered dietitian and a clinical social worker is available for support during and after treatment.

We see patients at Newton Medical Center and Chilton Medical Center. We are affiliated with Atlantic Medical Group and are participating providers of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.

Cancer survivorship 

“Getting back to normal” after cancer treatment can feel like you are entering a whole new world. There are many uncertainties: such as what to eat, how to adjust to returning to work and the fear of a recurrence.

At Atlantic Medical Oncology, we will help you with these lifestyle changes and will continue to support you and your loved ones in the years following your cancer treatment. We have a tremendous network of resources for whatever follow-up care you need – whether it is psychological or clinical, regarding fertility concerns, or dealing with any long-term side effects of cancer treatment.

Our physicians work closely with a team of oncologists, offering support through the cancer treatment process. Your access to nutritional and social services consultations are readily available.

Periodically, you will meet with our board-certified oncologists who will assess your progress and make recommendations to improve your health.

We accept most insurances

Atlantic Medical Group accepts most insurance plans, but always check with your insurance company first. If you require a copayment at the time of your visit, we accept cash, checks and most credit cards.

Please note: Procedures done in our office depend on your insurance coverage. Some insurance plans require that you see a specialist. Always be sure to check with your insurance provider.
