Diagnostic tests and procedures 

At Morristown Cardiology Associates, we use the following state-of-the-art, digital equipment at Cardiovascular Imaging at 435 South Street:

• Exercise stress testing
• Echocardiography with and without stress testing
• Non-invasive vascular testing, such as carotid and transcranial studies, arterial and venous studies and abdominal and renal studies
• Nuclear studies with an FDA-approved myocardial perfusion imaging agent, as well as Multiple-Gated Acquisition (MUGA) scan
• Cardiac monitoring: Holter monitors, blood pressure monitors and event recorders for long term heart rhythm monitoring
• Zio patch

All diagnostic testing performed is supervised, reviewed and interpreted by our medical team. The results are added into MyChart within 24 hours.

Some of our services are provided and billed by Morristown Medical Center. 

Treatments and therapeutic procedures we offer

We perform the following heart care treatments and therapeutic procedures at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center:

• Cardiac catheterization (traditional and wrist (radial) approach)
• Transesophageal echocardiography
• Coronary angioplasty, stenting and other advanced coronary techniques
• Electrical cardioversion

We accept most insurances

Atlantic Medical Group accepts most insurance plans, but always check with your insurance company first. If you require a copayment at the time of your visit, we accept cash, checks and most credit cards.

Please note: Procedures done in our office depend on your insurance coverage. Some insurance plans require that you see a specialist. Always be sure to check with your insurance provider.
