Specialists in maternal-fetal medicine
We help women who have pre-existing medical conditions optimize their health — prior to pregnancy. From routine ultrasounds to high-risk pregnancies, we are here for you throughout every stage of your pregnancy.
We are part of a multi-faceted health care team, including physicians, genetic counselors, registered ultrasonographers, perinatal nurses and certified diabetes educators. We are here for you for professional consultation relating to maternal and fetal complications that may occur during pregnancy.
Services we offer
Our team is dedicated to providing the most up-to-date comprehensive and compassionate care for women who anticipate or are experiencing a high-risk pregnancy, as well as performing screening services for low-risk pregnancies.
We are board-certified obstetricians and gynecologists, as well as maternal-fetal medicine specialists. Maternal- fetal medicine specialists have the specific training and experience needed to perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures during pregnancy that can involve the fetus and/or mother, such as targeted ultrasound and fetal intravascular transfusions.
We treat patients who have the following medical concerns:
- Diagnosis and treatment of women with complications of pregnancy
- Pre-existing medical conditions which may be impacted by pregnancy
- Medical conditions which impact the pregnancy itself
Our maternal-fetal medicine specialists require advanced knowledge of the obstetrical, medical, genetic, and surgical complications of pregnancy and their effects on both the mother and fetus. Advanced knowledge of newborn adaptation is also necessary to ensure a continuum of excellence in care from the fetal to newborn periods.
In addition, our physicians provide education to our patients and families on the most recent approaches and treatments for obstetrical problems, and promote the most optimal and risk-appropriate care for these complicated pregnancies.
