Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD)
Assessment and care when and where you need it
Psychotherapy & medication
Our pediatric psychiatrists and licensed therapists provide children, teens, and young adults with individual, group and family therapy. Counseling that includes parental and family involvement is central to our program and highly encouraged. In addition, we can help our patients manage any medications they may be taking to treat their mental health condition.
Services vary by location and are available at Morristown Medical Center, Newton Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center.
Adolescent intensive outpatient program (IOP)
Our program is designed to support and treat teens who have significant struggles with emotional health, often leading to difficulty functioning in daily activities. Our group-based program utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), an evidenced-based, gold-standard treatment approach. We treat teens ages 13-17 experiencing mental health and substance misuse issues. Programming is offered 3 days per week, 3 hours a day.
Adolescent IOP is currently available at Overlook Medical Center.
