Atlantic Health System Helps Businesses Protect Employees & Customers with “COVID-19 Safety Check”

May 12, 2021

May 12, 2021, Morristown, NJ – To help businesses get the information they need so they can reopen or return to work with confidence, Atlantic Health System has developed a customizable safety assessment called the COVID-19 Safety Check. Engineered by Atlantic Health System’s leading medical experts and coordinated by the system’s corporate health team, the COVID-19 Safety Check uses leading testing and screening protocols and combines on-site educational and training resources with comprehensive health and wellness benefits.

“The arrival of safe and effective COVID-19 vaccines has delivered a light at the end of the tunnel in this pandemic,” said Kevin Lenahan, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer, Atlantic Health System. “But we know for our economy and communities to move closer to normal, employees and consumers must feel safe and confident when they enter restaurants, shops and other places of business. The COVID-19 Safety Check offers ways Atlantic Health System can help businesses improve safety and illustrate their commitment to caring for their employees and customers.”

Completing the COVID-19 Safety Check and earning the Atlantic Health System Safety Check Seal will require different tactics depending on the size and operations of a business. Larger businesses will need to undergo a site audit and a review of policies and procedures, while smaller businesses will require consultation paired with education and training. Businesses of all sizes can request additional services including:

  • Telemedicine sessions with Atlantic Health System physicians
  • Testing and screening including COVID PCR testing and PPE fit testing
  • Access to the Atlantic Health System COVID-19 Recovery Program
  • Live and pre-recorded educational sessions on COVID related or general health topics

Atlantic Health System developed the assessment after gathering feedback from businesses, including frequently asked questions about how to implement the proper safety protocols.

Upon successful completion of the COVID-19 Safety Check, businesses will be provided a Seal that can be displayed and used for communications to demonstrate their commitment to their employees’ and customers’ wellbeing.
