Morristown Medical Center
Whether it's a minor injury, such as a sore shoulder or sprained ankle, or a major impairment, like a worn out hip or arthritic joint, many Americans will require orthopedic care at some point in their lives. When they do, they can turn to Atlantic Orthopedic Institute for multidisciplinary treatment that spans pre-surgical education through post-operative rehabilitation.
Our goal is simple – restore normal functioning as quickly as possible.
We have all of the latest diagnostic technologies, such as ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and many of our board-certified surgeons are experts in minimally invasive techniques that result in faster recoveries, greater range of motion and smaller scars.
Our orthopedic areas of specialization include:
- Foot and ankle treatments
- Hand and upper extremity treatments
- Pediatric orthopedics
- Spine treatments
- Sports medicine
- Total joint replacement
Orthopedists at Morristown Medical Center provide assistance in the Trauma Center, caring for patients with complex fractures of the pelvis and upper and lower extremities. They also work with the radiation therapy department to help those with heterotopic ossification – a condition where bone develops in areas of soft tissue, often as a result of orthopedic trauma.
