Atlantic Health System Medical Centers Named Top Hospitals in New Jersey

Morristown Medical Center named number one hospital in NJ with more than 350 beds
Chilton Medical Center named number one hospital in NJ with less than 350 beds

MARCH 18, 2021, Morristown – Atlantic Health System’s medical centers lead the way when it comes to hospital reputation in New Jersey according to the latest ranking from renowned health care research and information company Castle Connolly.

Morristown Medical Center is named the top hospital in the state with more than 350 beds and Chilton Medical Center ranked number one for “Top Hospital Overall” with less than 350 beds. This is the sixth year in a row Chilton has earned the top spot in the list published today in Jersey’s Best: https://www.jerseysbest.com/magazine/.

Overlook Medical Center is ranked number three in the list of more than 350 beds, while Goryeb Children’s Hospital, Newton Medical Center and Hackettstown Medical Center complete a sweep for Atlantic Health System of all the top 4 rankings in the list of less than 350 beds.

Morristown Medical Center and Chilton Medical Center were also named the number one hospitals in the state in their respective lists across the following treatment categories ranked: breast cancer, congestive heart failure, coronary artery bypass surgery, high risk pregnancy and birth, hip and knee replacement, neurological disorders, pain management, prostate cancer and stroke. Morristown Medical Center also ranked first for pediatric cancer treatment. Atlantic Health System medical centers placed at or near the top of every treatment category measured.

These results are based on the votes of more than one thousand physicians and reflect Atlantic Health System’s strong reputation from physicians across the state.
