Caring for Our Community in Unprecedented Times

With the declaration of the national emergency, our country is now empowered to take significant action toward slowing and eliminating the risks caused by novel coronavirus. State and federal leaders now have the power to change and waive laws and regulations to contain the virus and treat patients. The action also provides access to federal funds, required supplies, personnel and other significant support.
As a result of the increased federal commitment, we will now be able to find new opportunities to build on the great work health care professionals all over the nation are doing to protect and care for our patients and communities. One of the greatest reassurances in this new policy is its promise to increase the speed and availability of the tests required to diagnose patients and begin treatment.
At Atlantic Health System, we will continue doing what we do best — caring for our patients — by remaining vigilant and agile as we pull together like we have so many times before. Our extraordinary health care team is once again prepared to meet the challenge before us.
