Morristown, NJ – Morristown Medical Center announced registration is now open for its second annual Pet Therapy Conference on Monday, November 3, 2014 from 8:30am to 3:30pm at the Hyatt Morristown, 3 Speedwell Avenue, Morristown, NJ. John Grogan, author of “Marley and Me,” will keynote the conference.
The event offers networking opportunities for individuals who wish to learn more about pet therapy and those who are currently a part of a pet therapy or certification program. The conference will provide information on successful animal-assisted activity programs, how dogs enrich our lives and how dogs and humans work together to save each other.

- Rebecca Johnson, PhD, RN, FAAN, FNAP, President of the International Association of Human Animal Interaction Organizations
- Lt. Brooks Frederick, Austin Fire Department and his arson detection canine, Leo
- Cindy Otto, DVM, PhD of the Penn Vet Working Dog Center at the University of Pennsylvania
