One of Three Hospitals in NJ to Make National List

Morristown, NJ – Atlantic Health System’s Morristown Medical Center has again been named to Becker’s Healthcare’s list of 100 Great Hospitals in America. This is the medical center’s third year on the national list.

“We are incredibly proud to provide our community with strong clinical quality and positive patient outcomes in our safe, healing environment, supported by the strong partnership between our medical staff, clinical team, and all of our team members who work together to build healthier communities,” said Trish O’Keefe, PhD, RN, President, Morristown Medical Center.

The recognition is based on excellence in clinical care, patient outcomes, and staff and physician satisfaction. The list also includes industry innovators that have sparked trends in healthcare technology, hospital management and patient satisfaction.

“These institutions are industry leaders that have achieved advanced accreditation and certification in several specialties,” said Becker’s on its website.

The list was also based on data from ranking and award agencies, including U.S. News & World Report's 2018-19 rankings, CareChex, Healthgrades, CMS star ratings, Leapfrog grades and IBM Watson Health top hospitals.
