Atlantic Health System Earns Gold Recognition on the American Heart Association’s Workplace Health Achievement Index

February 10, 2020 – Morristown, NJ – Atlantic Health System has been designated Gold level on the American Heart Association’s Workplace Achievement Index for the second year in a row, marking a great achievement in the well-being journey of its more than 17,000 team members.

The unique well-being programs at Atlantic Health System are just one of the reasons Atlantic Health is a great place to work. Focused on caring for the caregiver, Atlantic Health System offers many health and well-being programs for team members to support their individual needs. These include diabetes, hypertension and weight support programs, tobacco cessation coaching, onsite fitness centers and discounts and financial well-being resources.

Atlantic Health takes a holistic approach to its team members’ well-being, understanding that wellness goes beyond what we eat and how active we are. The Workplace Health Achievement Index scores organizations on 55 individual best practices, organized into seven categories of organizational best practices, including leadership, engagement, programs, policies and environment, partnerships, communications and reporting outcomes.
