Atlantic Health Newton Hire Learning Nurse Residency Program 

Atlantic Health Newton’s Hire Learning Residency Program provides one-year on-the-job training for eligible candidates who have recently graduated from nursing school. Curriculum focuses on continuum of care.

Those accepted will take part in a customized orientation, followed by work experience with our registered nurses and nurse educators, who provide both instruction and mentorship. In addition, through our full circle observational learning experience, residents can shadow nurses in the units of their specialty, gaining an in-depth understanding of how to provide comprehensive care.

Atlantic Health Overlook Hire Learning Nurse Residency Program

The Hire Learning Nurse Residency Program at Atlantic Health Overlook is a one-year transition to practice program created to build a solid foundation for your nursing career. The program focuses on the continuum of care and evidence-based practice provided by Atlantic Health Overlook’s nursing experts and interprofessional care teams.

After participating in a customized orientation, you will work with experienced subject matter experts who will precept and mentor you throughout your first year of employment. We will provide you with an in-depth understanding of the various facets of comprehensive health care delivery and guidance in functioning as a professional nurse. The nursing education department supports and facilitates your success as you embark on this exciting journey.
