Wait times represent the average estimated length of time from registration to being assigned a "first provider" (a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant). Times displayed for Atlantic Health Systems are:

  • Reported as an average of wait times for the previous 2 hours of patients that have presented to the emergency department and have been seen by a provider
  • Refreshed at least every 15 minutes

Many circumstances can affect wait times - for example, patients arriving by ambulance or with life-threatening injuries or illnesses. Patients with severe conditions will be seen before those with less-serious problems or ailments. These times are provided for informational purposes only and cannot be guaranteed upon arrival.

Pediatric Radiology

At Atlantic Health System, we believe that children and adolescents require specialized radiology services. That’s why we provide ultrasound, X-ray and fluoroscopy examinations that are specific to the needs of pediatric patients and in many cases, meet image gently® recommendations.

For more advanced imaging services, such as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or nuclear medicine, child patients are referred to Atlantic Health System's Radiology Department.

Our staff includes a radiologist who is board-certified and fellowship-trained in pediatrics and technologists who have extensive experience working with children. They’ll collaborate with Child Life specialists to answer all of your questions and make you and your child feel as ease.

Pediatric radiology services may vary by location. Please confirm when booking an appointment.
